THE LINDSAY EDIT — THURSDAY DROP

“The Alex Top Is Now a Core Part of My Identity.”

If you don’t like it, take it up with my therapist.

—Lindsay, CEO of Wearing It On Repeat™

Ha!

Every season, without fail, there’s that one piece I latch onto like a dog with a bone.  This year, it’s the coral sweater. Yes, the one you’ve seen on my feed…repeatedly. At this point, it probably deserves its own W-2.

But let’s talk about why we do this.  Why we fall deeply, obsessively, irrationally in love with one single item of clothing and wear it into the ground with zero shame and full confidence.

It’s not laziness. It’s intuition.

As women over 40, we’ve tried the trends. We’ve filled carts with impulse buys. We’ve stood in our closets overwhelmed by a bunch of clothes and still thought, “I have nothing to wear.”

So when we find something that checks the boxes—

  • fits well
  • feels amazing
  • makes us look put together with zero effort
  • works with half our closet

We hold on tight. And we should.

This isn’t a fashion emergency. This is evolution. It’s a sign of a woman who knows what works for her.

The Hyperfixation Phase Isn’t a Red Flag—It’s a Green Light.

That sweater you keep reaching for?

That one pair of jeans you wash on a loop?

That dress you feel like a goddess in every single time?

It’s not a rut.

It’s not boring.

It’s called having style clarity.

Because truthfully? Women who know their personal style and unapologetically wear what they love absolutely radiate confidence that doesn’t come from following trends. It comes from showing up every day and saying, “This is who I am. And she looks good.”

Soooo......

Wear the damn sweater. Again.

Pair it with denim, joggers, a slip skirt, a red lip, a top knot.

Reinvent it. Repeat it. Own it.

Hyperfixation isn’t a flaw—it’s a flex.

Let them talk. We’re too busy building signature looks and living lives that fit just as perfectly.

💬 Tell me: what’s your hyperfixation piece right now?

And if you don’t have one yet…

might I suggest a coral sweater?
